Join Deacon Brodies Pub on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, 2026, for a full Rabbie Burns Weekend celebrating Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns.

Saturday, January 24, 2026

The festivities begin around 5:00 PM with a performance by the Sons of Scotland Pipe Band, bringing traditional Scottish piping and drumming to Elgin Street. The celebration continues later in the evening with live music from Skyler Radmore at 9:00 PM.

There is no cover charge for Saturday’s events. Reservations are highly recommended: please call the pub directly to book a table at 613-236-6464.

Sunday, January 25, 2026 : Burns Night

Sunday features a full day of Burns Night traditions, music, and whisky.

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: The Bard’s Scotch Tasting

Whisky lovers are invited to a guided Scotch whisky tasting led by Dave Sharp. The tasting includes five carefully selected single malt whiskies, thoughtfully paired with chocolates and a small snack plate.

⚠️ Advance RSVP is required for the whisky tasting.

Reservations are accepted only via the online form: no phone calls or in-person bookings for the tasting.

6:00 PM onward: Burns Night Festivities

The evening celebrations begin at 6:00 PM with piper Nico Gravel, including the traditional Address to the Haggis, piping and drumming, complimentary toasts, trivia, Scottish giveaways, and plenty of Burns poetry throughout the night.

There is no cover charge for the Burns Night festivities, but evening table reservations are fully booked.

Kilts are strongly encouraged.
