Deacon Brodies September 2024 Fall Scotch Tasting

SEPTEMBER 15TH 2024 WHISKY FLIGHT:

Ardbeg Ardcore is a distinctive single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the bold character Ardbeg is known for. Created as a tribute to the whisky’s hardcore fans, Ardbeg Ardcore embodies the adventurous spirit that defines the distillery. It’s a bold choice for those who appreciate intense flavours and want to explore the depth of Islay whiskies.

The Roseisle 12: Special Release 2023 bottled at natural cask strength. Distillery-first expression, Roseisle 12 Year Old features in SPIRITED XCHANGE, a limited edition Single Malt Whisky inspired by the exchange of global craft and culture for Special Releases 2023. A fine baptism for a smoothly assured new malt that, in the style of this first-ever release, as in location, cleverly inhabits a country between the rich grassy, fruity bounty of central Speyside and the nutty- spicy notes of the highlands.

Lagavulin 11 Year Old Offerman Edition - Caribbean Cask (2024): Experience the unique flavours of Lagavulin 11 Year Old Offerman Edition, the 4th in the series, inspired by the passion of actor Nick Offerman and his appreciation for exceptional whisky. This limited release represents a harmonious blend of traditional Lagavulin character with a twist from Caribbean rum cask finishing. This expression exemplifies what makes Lagavulin so revered among whisky enthusiasts while adding a distinctive Caribbean flair.

Tamdhu 12: is a single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the rich heritage of the Tamdhu Distillery, located in the heart of Speyside. This particular expression is aged for 12 years, matured exclusively in a combination of first-fill and refill Oloroso sherry casks for 12 years. Enjoy Tamdhu 12 neat or with a splash of water allows one to fully appreciate its intricate profile.

David Sharp, your knowledgeable whisky host, will take you on a delightful whisky journey, exploring the unique profiles and characteristics of each of these fine whiskies and their respective distilleries. Along the way, you can savor a carefully curated plate of yummy chocolate and enjoy some light snacks to enhance your experience.
