Deacon Brodie’s has the PERFECT announcement to celebrate this fine holiday. ⁠

⁠After one long and trying year, with the never-ending help of our good friend Bud Walsh (THANKS BUD!) - we have LEGALLY reclaimed ALL of the renowned Scotch Collection from our beloved Highlander Pub on Rideau Street (RIP). We have gotten all the approvals, signed all the dotted lines, picked up our collection after being properly stored, transferred to our bar, and it was all monitored by Barmetrix. Big thanks also goes out to Lisa MacLeod, the Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries as well as her office for all their support during this huge endeavour. ⁠

⁠We have spent the last month getting our pub’s wall ready to expand our collection from *only* 180 bottles of whisky to the astounding number of 409 different whiskies. This includes over 300 bottles of Single Malt Scotch, over 30 bottles of Bourbon, over 20 bottles of Canadian Whisky, and a whole assortment of International Whiskies & Ryes. ⁠

⁠It’s here. It’s ready. It’s BEAUTIFUL!⁠

⁠This officially makes our collection of whisk(e)y the LARGEST in all of Ottawa and one of the top whisky collections in all of Ontario. ⁠We are a scotch bar, we are a bourbon bar, we are a whiskey bar. And, we can’t wait to show you in person (distanced and masked of course!)
